Products > Dry-Pak® Dehydrant for Refrigeration Units

For 5 Degrees or More Colder Air

Why Dry-Pak® ?

Our dehydrant Dry-Pak® converts moisture into a silicone oil and effectively reduces compressor head temperature, pressures and amperage draw. It increases the amount of refrigerant being vaporized in the air handler or evaporator. This results in the output of colder air, increased efficiency, protection from acids, corrosion, freeze-ups and approximately 10% reduction in power consumption.

When working with small and large refrigeration units 80% of all service problems are either directly caused by or are traceable to moisture. If moisture is present in large enough quantities, it will form ice in capillary tubes and expansion valves plugging them. Air conditioning systems should be dried to zero parts per million because the beginning of trouble starts with moisture.

Dry-Pak® Beyond 5 Degrees Colder

  • DECONTAMINATES SYSTEM
  • DECREASES AMPERAGE DRAW
  • INCREASES COOLING EFFICIENCY
  • PROLONGS EQUIPMENT LIFE
  • DEHYDRATES THE SYSTEM
  • CONVERTS MOISTURE INTO SILCONE OIL
  • INCREASES DIELECTRIC STRENGTH
  • PROTECTS FROM ACID CORROSION, RUST & FREEZE-UPS
  • ELIMINATES TRAPPED MOISTURE IN LUBRICATING OIL
  • REDUCES “BURN OUT” POTENTIAL
  • BETTER HEAT TRANSFER
Dry-Pak® is available for purchase in one-16 oz. can or by the case.   One case=6 cans.  Tanks may be ordered upon special request. Dry-Pak® dehydrant is also included in the SSR R-22 kit.
